Is the Crestline truly designed for outdoor use, or is it only weather-tolerant?
It is purpose-built for outdoor use. The cabinet is extruded aluminum (not wood), the playfield is a weatherproof composite material, and the inner wall and gutter cloth are rated UV-resistant and weatherproof. These are not indoor-suitable materials wrapped in a weather-tolerant coating — the construction is designed from the start for an outdoor environment.
What are the exact table dimensions and how much space do I need?
The table is 144 inches long, 29 inches wide, and 31 inches tall (365.8 cm × 73.7 cm × 78.7 cm). Plan for at least 3–4 feet of clearance on each end for players to slide pucks comfortably, so a total space of roughly 20 feet in length and 6–7 feet in width is a practical minimum for comfortable play.
What is the playfield thickness?

How difficult is assembly, and do I need help?
Hathaway rates assembly at approximately 30 minutes. Two adults are strongly recommended — the table is heavy (approximately 340 lbs) and needs to be flipped upright after the leg assembly is attached. All hardware and a hex wrench are included; the only tool you need to bring is a Phillips head screwdriver. Assembly instructions with illustrated diagrams are included in the box.
How do the leg levelers work, and can I use this on an uneven surface?
The four 6-inch diameter adjustable leg levelers thread up and down to compensate for uneven surfaces. Once set, they anchor the table firmly in place. The Crestline can be leveled on concrete, composite decking, pavers, and similar hard surfaces. On very soft ground (like lawn without a pad), you may need to place a solid base under the levelers to prevent sinking over time.
Does the table need to be moved indoors for winter?
The aluminum cabinet and weatherproof composite playfield are designed for outdoor exposure. That said, extreme temperature cycling can affect any material over time. Using the included fitted table cover when the table is not in use — and particularly through the off-season — is the best way to protect the playfield and gutter cloth year-round. If your climate includes very harsh winters, storing it under a covered structure (not necessarily indoors) is a reasonable precaution.
How do I maintain the playfield surface?
Shuffleboard tables require periodic waxing to keep pucks gliding smoothly. A can of surface wax is included in the box. Apply a light, even coat before play and sweep the excess with the included brush. Outdoors, you may need to wax more frequently after rain or heavy dew.
