The cutout required for built-in installation is 16⅛" wide × 34¾" high × 23¾" deep — note that the cutout width (16⅛") is wider than the unit itself (14.9") to allow for clearance. Can this be installed as a true built-in, or does it need to be freestanding?
The RFR-15WD is designed for both built-in and freestanding use. Is the RFR-15WD actually rated for outdoor use, or is it just weather-resistant?
It is UL-certified for outdoor use — not simply marketed as weather-resistant. UL outdoor certification requires the unit to pass independent safety testing for outdoor installation conditions.
